Wintertide

I'm down in the dumps, not to blame it on the season

Thoughts and emotions are probably the reason.

I crave a love deeper than the sea,

Although I know that's all inside of me.

The day will come when I meet this soul

Or it won't and I will still roll.

My heart is beating and I often smile

The earth is beautiful and worth while.

I guess all I'm trying to say

Is there will be those days,

Of hardship and tears

Through all of your years.

Be the light that you know you are

Find beauty in the pain; you've come so far.
