The mountains stand tall,

Their trees still dance with stories of the winds.

Her fish jump, multiplying as a result of untouched waters

There is growth that hasn't been seen in years, if ever.

Can't you feel the presence of her depth?

Where once decay and turmoil lied

Now, new development arises.

Humming their own tune from one bird to the next; they are at peace.

I realize the humans do suffer in this time of decease.

Control we cannot

Find unity we must

Not just with each other

But also with our mother.

Creating all things to make this life a dream

For without her (no earth), what would it be?

There is no telling

To imagine the unimaginable, possibilities are endless.

So here we are, living out our dreams

Our death

Our visit

No guidelines on how to do so

What does all this show?

A new beginning

Perhaps a more conscious one

In which we do not shun.

The actions we take shouldn't forsake

For now we know what is at stake.

A blessing in disguise

With a little compromise

There needed to be a change;

Come, let us rearrange

The normal we're conditioned to believe

Where all of this was preconceived.

To love the life we're gifted to live

And remember how important it is to forgive.

As the trees still dance with the flow of the wind

Feel how good it is to be in your very own skin.
