Love is undefinable; the strongest energy any of us have encountered.
I used to search for the love in others that I felt I never had, which was a lesson well learned. In past relationships I tore myself apart trying with great force to be validated and wanting my partner to 'make' me feel a certain way. In turn, no one can 'make' you feel anything. That is entirely up to you and in the long run taking love from others who aren't willingly giving it to you is draining. Which caused me to feel more empty and alone than I ever have before. I was taking not receiving, when there is a genuine flow of love, giving/receiving naturally occurs. After a year of being solely alone growing and trying to love myself I realized how unhealthy many of my old habits were and how they were not who I am. If you don't like yourself that says more than any other person could. We are conditioned to want to be wanted and often forget about the relationship that must come first; the one within ourselves.
